Levels, classes & equipment

Earn XP, spend points and prepare for stronger regions without needing a party.

Develop your character #

Use /lvl gui for your character and skill points, and /classes for the six-class selection. Classes and allocated points apply real bonuses. Ore mining, combat, woodcutting and mod quests earn XP; plain stone does not. Woodcutting XP is reduced fourfold, so logs alone are a slow route to level 4. The level cap is 175. Death does not reset your RPG level.

Iron → Thorium → Cobalt → Adamantite #

These are requirements for specific shop purchases, not locks on the whole guide or region. Crafting follows each item’s own native recipe and workstation requirements. ItemLevel is different from your RPG level. Keep ingredients needed for station upgrades before selling extras.

Adventure at your own pace #

Start with ordinary enemies outside town, learn blocking with your iron shield and bring food and healing. Native Chapters and the mod campaign are separate progress systems. No required stage depends on having a guild, another player’s shop or a second person activating a boss. Dungeon enemy ranges help you prepare; they are not a promise that every fight is easy.
